Weston Wild Soccer Tryouts – 2009/2010 Season
Tryouts for Weston Wild Soccer will take place Tueday May 26th thru Sunday May 31st. Times and locations of the tryouts are still to be detemined and will be posted shortly. Please pre-register by selecting the link below and submitting the player information.
The teams have the opportunity to compete in the State and National games, AYSO Invitationals and approved Tournaments. Most of the tournaments that the Teams will participate in are held in our general tri-county area, but we may also participate in tournaments outside our area such as Tampa, Orlando or other States. We also offer a U8 academy for players’ ages 6 and 7 years old. The Weston Wild teams practice twice per week, play games on Saturday against other Select teams and participate in competitive tournaments (on average once per month from September through May). The cost for a player to participate in the Weston Wild program $265 and includes two practice tee-shirts and league fees.

Weston Wild teams had a strong showing at the 2008 Plantation Thanksgiving Day Tournament, with three teams winning their divisions – U10 Boys (Coach Van Dam), U14 Girls (Coach Rincon) and U16 Boys (Coach Belmonte) Champions! Yes, “Champions” is the word that usually describes Weston Wild teams… The Weston Wild program continues to reach new heights as teams consistently reach the finals of tournaments and take home the Championship title. Our philosophy with regards to player development, the passion and dedication of the players and coaches as well as the support of the parents has allowed our program to succeed. Every member of our organization deserves to be recognized for the success of the teams. Congratulations U10 Weston Wild Girls: Wellington - The U10 Weston Wild girls on MLK Day in double overtime defeated the Boynton Beach Knights 4 to 2 to be crowned 2009 AYSO State Games Champions. The fans in attendance were treated to a thrilling end as the Wild defense held on to a late Knight barrage of shots. “The level of soccer displayed by both teams was exceptional” Coach Lawson commented. The Wild girls in just over two months found themselves in the finals of the last four tournaments played (Plantation Thanksgiving Day Classic, the Orange Classic, the Wellington Shootout, and the AYSO State Games ) coming on top in both the Orange Classic and this past weekend’s AYSO State Games. In these tournaments, the Wild tallied a 15-3-1 record scoring 84 goals while allowing 18.

E Komo Mai! (Welcome!) Aloha, Mahalo… start sharpening your Hawaiian vocabulary because the Weston Wild U19Boys, U19Girls and U14Boys are headed to Hawaii. We are extremely proud and excited to announce that our players have earned an invitation to represent AYSO Region644 in next years National Games being held in Hawaii (July 2008). Additional invitations are still possible so stay tuned for more exciting news from Weston Wild Soccer.
