Our Commitment to Development of Youth Soccer
AYSO Region 644 offers among the most cost effective youth soccer programs in South Florida.
Costing a fraction of other “competitive” soccer programs, AYSO Region 644 has developed a year round soccer program which combines the philosophy of AYSO with many of the goals of other competitive programs.
AYSO Region 644 offers both a Fall and Spring League. The Fall league runs from September until mid December and the Spring League runs from February until May, thus providing a year round soccer program.
The benefits of the programs offered by AYSO Region 644 are as follows:
Cost
Number of Games per Season
Fall Season
Spring Season
Fall Season - 10 Games
Spring Season – 10 Games
Number of Practices per Week

Referee Programs
So that our youth soccer players can learn the laws of the game on an in-depth basis, AYSO Region 644 provides referee instruction to all participants.
Once this class is taken we encourage our participants to referee age appropriate games within our program.
Youth referees make up a significant portion of the referees in our program. In 2006 our program had over 50 youth referees.
In addition to learning the rules of the game, our youth referees obtain Community Service hours for volunteering their time.

AYSO Region 644 Announces Weston Wild (Select) Teams U10-U19 Weston AYSO will be forming Select Teams to participate in tournaments. We see this as an opportunity to enhance our program, which is already considered “The best soccer program in South Florida”. Our teams have achieved tremendous success in the State games held every January and most recently at the National games this past July in Chicago, IL. The secret to our success is that we care about the development of our players… as athletes and individuals. Our players benefit from having the best qualified coaches and trainers in South Florida. We have also designed our program within a positive environment to allow the players the opportunity to achieve success, which helps them develop confidence in their abilities and reach their full potential.
The Select Teams will have the opportunity to compete in the State and National games, AYSO Invitationals and approved Tournaments. Most of the tournaments that the Select Teams will participate in are held in our general tri-county area, but we will also participate in tournaments outside our area such as Tampa, Orlando or in another State. Participation on a Select Team is only open to players registered in AYSO (Divisions U10 - U19).
